“Cat Daddy” Jeff had a vision for a cat café in Palm Coast, which has taken on a creative and meaningful twist.

After learning the steep startup costs, permitting requirements, and the realities of running a cat café, “Cat Daddy” Jeff Jacobs and the Flagler Humane Society are collaborating and bringing the cat café experience to Palm Coast. On Sunday, August 17, from noon to 3 p.m., the education room will transform into a space where cats roam freely among visitors.

Guests can spend their Sunday afternoon surrounded by amazing cats, enjoy some coffee, and meet like-minded cat lovers. Many of these cats have been rescued from large-scale intakes, including a recent case involving nearly 100 cats from one home.

Adoption is not required, but donations are greatly appreciated. Last but not least, you can get a chance to win a handmade cat-themed quilt, and the raffle winner will be drawn at the event!
