Want to Be an Elections Hero? Become a Poll Worker!
Flagler Humane Society is proud to participate in the Flagler County Adopt-A-Precinct Program — and we were the first organization in Flagler County to do it!
Election poll workers are the men and women who staff polling places during Early Voting and on Election Day. Through the Adopt-A-Precinct Program, the Flagler County Supervisor of Elections Office partners with local 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations like FHS to recruit volunteers to work the polls. Volunteers donate their wages back to the organization, helping us continue our life-saving work in the community.
The Elections Office provides all required training, so no prior experience is necessary.
This program benefits everyone:
- Voters are served by well-trained, motivated staff at the polls
- The Elections Office gains reliable workers for Election Day
- FHS receives funding to support animals in need in Flagler County
Interested in becoming a poll worker and supporting Flagler Humane Society at the same time? Apply online at FlaglerElections.gov/poll-worker.
