Flagler Humane Society contracts with Flagler County, the City of Bunnell, and the City of Flagler Beach to provide compassionate animal control with an emphasis on education over punishment.

Our Animal Control Officers assist pet owners with responsible pet ownership — providing dog houses, collars, pet food, pet transportation, and basic veterinary care. When possible, they perform return-to-owner in the field so animals never have to enter the shelter.

What We Do

• Serve Flagler Beach, Bunnell, and Unincorporated Flagler County
• Enforce local ordinances and state animal laws
• Respond to all animal calls — domestic and wildlife — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• Investigate animal abuse, cruelty, and neglect
• Confiscate animals and pursue prosecution when warranted
