St. Thomas Episcopal Pet Blessing

Cost: Free (donations of pet food or supplies for the Flagler Humane Society are welcome)
An outdoor community gathering on the lawn welcoming pets of all faiths to receive a blessing for long life and good health. The event also features a community outreach pet food drive benefiting the Flagler Humane Society, alongside adoptable dogs visiting from the shelter.
“Bring your pets to be blessed. Dogs, cats, turtles, guinea pigs, etc., are all invited. Please bring pet food to be donated to a local shelter. In the Episcopal church, a pet blessing is a ceremony that honors our beloved pets. The blessing is held around the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals.”
